There is a New Bed & Breakfast in New Orleans

There is a new bed and breakfast in New Orleans.
The rumors are almost true.  There is almost a new B&B in New Orleans.  It is scheduled to open at the end of August, 2012.  La Belle Esplanade, LLC is located at 2216 Esplanade Avenue, New Orleans.

People who have stopped to take pictures of the new paint job have been complimentary and enthusiastic.  Like the hosts, the workers who have been busy inside the building are both pleased and proud with the new look and the additions being made.  The inside is just as colorful as the outside.

There will be five, two-room suites total.  Three of them will be open for guests by the end of August.  Each suite features period furniture from when this cheerful manor was built in the 1870s.  The beds are breathtaking.  Each suite is also decorated in a specific theme, which will be the topic of future posts.  The dining room has been renovated with a sub-tropical color scheme to greet the day.  The lobby is being stocked with curios, including a Mardi Gras Indian suit to greet guests.

Meals will feature ingredients, jams, pickles, and wines from local farmer's markets and bakeries.  The gardens in back have been completely replanted to accommodate shade palms and fruit trees, as well as the classical fountain.

Esplanade Avenue, one of the most picturesque streets in all of New Orleans, will be home to yet another stunning bed & breakfast inn.  Located right in the middle between the French Quarter and City Park, delightful surprises are around every corner.  Convenient to Jazzfest, Satchmo Summerfest, neighborhood restaurants with national reputations, and the simple amenities that make New Orleans a wonderful place in which to live, as well as to visit, La Belle Esplanade bed and breakfast looks forward to serving guests who want to relax and make the most of their stay.

Check this blog often as we chronicle the inn's progress, neighborhood developments, and news about this wonderful city we call home.  We will be posting twice a week.

Bienvenue a la Nouvelle Orleans, et bienvenue a la belle Avenue d'Esplanade.
