Converted To New Orleans

Give a man a fish and he'll eat for a day.  Teach a man to fish and he'll feed his family the rest of his life.  Catch a wish in New Orleans and you'll leave with good memories that will enrich your life for the rest of your days.  How do I know?  I live here.  I am fat with good memories.

No one loses weigh when they visit New Orleans.

In the dead of night in summer in New Orleans, crickets chirp their consciences in a peaceful rhythm that encourages the sleep of the contented.  Sweet dreams.  In winter, crows caw the same way until tomorrow.  Be careful what you wish for in New Orleans.  It could be the day you want or it could be the day you deserve.

If you've ever seen an alligator try to swallow a dead dolphin off Pontchartrain Beach, you know what New Orleans can be like.  It isn't always like that way.  It's rarely like that, in fact.  Most of the time New Orleans is all butterflies and baby dolls, kin, king cake, syncopation, eight ball in the corner pocket, winning the trifecta.  What else is there to do but to have a good time?

Nobody sits in their room and plays solitaire in New Orleans.  There are too many other opportunities to seize the day.  Dance like no one is watching in New Orleans.  Nobody is.

New Orleans is all about time enjoyed.  If you are going to be alive, you may as well live like you mean it.  Laissez les bon tempts rouler.

Once you get to know New Orleans, it isn't like knowing any other city.  Knowing New Orleans is like knowing another person.  You will discover more about yourself the more you get to know New Orleans.  Be true to your code.  New Orleans is for lovers.

Be yourself.  Be the best you can be.  Be a real New Orleanian, wherever you are.  You may not be interested in getting to Heaven but New Orleans might tempt you with a taste of it.  New Orleans will make you a convert.

Visit New Orleans like you mean it.
